Hey everyone! Click here if you are wanting to check out program’s official site. Read on for my P90X review.
Everyone and their brother has heard about P90X at this point. Simply put, it is the talk of all the gyms and people who are looking to get ripped and in shape. However, it’s not perfect, so in my P90X review I’ll try to go over as much as possible to help you decide if it will be the right fit for you.
Created by Beach Body, P90X bases it’s entire routine off the concept of muscle confusion. This means you are incorporated a ton of movements and exercises that use different muscles and help them all develop at the same time. The workouts are anything but easy; many people have a hard time moving the first week they start it. However, the results are unprecedented and is the driving force behind all the sales they have had.
Now it is time to get into my own personal P90X review. I, like I’m sure many of you are, consider myself somewhat athletic but I never really got that body I was desperately craving. I wanted to go to the beach with no shirt on. I wanted to wear cut off sleeves without being embarrassed. I simply wanted my girlfriend to feel tight muscles when she touched me and hugged me instead of doughy fat. I knew I could get that after completing P90X.
The workouts take 60-90 minutes, which for some could be a problem. This is not a quick and easy workout to burn a few carbs. You have to put in the time if you want the results. You are supposed to take one day off a week as well, but two would be acceptable as well if you want the weekend to be time to play a sport or workout another way.
The results, which I am proud of, were made possible thanks to the great nutritional information they give you. Out with the processed food people, it’s time to eat healthy. Not only did they have tasty recipes, but they also had a lot of inexpensive options. This was great for me since money is tight these days. I didn’t have money to buy specialty shakes of any kind.
As the name implies, P90X takes 90 days to get through. You can continue doing it, but the overall cycle take this long. You however see results within a few weeks of starting. The first time I noticed real results from P90X was after the third week. I had lost weight according to the scale, but I could also see my face, stomach and chest being thinner as well. If you want, take a picture of yourself after each week. I guarantee you see changes.
So I guess I need to be fair though and go over the cons. I have kind of hinted at them since they aren’t major, but do need addressed. If you don’t have about 9 hours a week to workout, you may need something else. If you are looking to only lose weight, again you might try something more focused on the cardio type workouts. The important thing is to know what P90X can and can’t do. It can do just about everything for you if you do it properly, just make sure you manage your time and you don’t bulk up too much if you don’t want to. As is the case with all workout routines these days, they offer a money back guarantee so no need to worry about that.
